Mark Harper, as Past European Chapter President, was delighted to attend IAFL Introduction to Family Law Conference in Milan on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 March 2019.

Mark attended a brilliant talk by Professor Doctor Ian Sumner, English/Dutch lawyer, on the EU Matrimonial Property Regulation. He noted that Ian’s talk made the complex subject interesting and entertaining and is essential reading for anyone advising on international pre-nups.

IAFL is a worldwide association of practising lawyers who are recognised by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries. IAFL was formed in 1986 to improve the practice of law and administration of justice in the area of divorce and family law throughout the world.
