Partner Alex Carruthers is speaking at the 11th annual Informa Connect Transcontinental Trusts Conference, which is taking place in Bermuda between 14-16 May 2025.

The Conference brings together senior trust practitioners from around the world, who will discuss the current challenges in transcontinental trusts. This year’s themes include trends in developing new financial centres and charitable giving, transparency in public beneficial ownership registers, and the TransTrusts International Supreme Court, among many more.

Alex will be participating in the panel discussion Evaluating options in family law disputes alongside Alphonse Provinziano, Managing Partner and Certified Family Law Specialist at Provinziano & Associates. They will discuss mediation and the effectiveness of firewall legislation in divorce proceedings, focusing on UK-US disputes.
