Frances Hughes has been ranked in the Top 10: 2015 London Super Lawyers, with Pauline Fowler and Alex Carruthers ranked in the Top 100.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a solicitor-rating service with a mission of bringing visibility to solicitors who exhibit excellence in the practice of law.

The Super Lawyers rating service started in the U.S. in 1991. The ratings are published online, included in a standalone magazine distributed free of charge to lawyers, and as inserts in newspapers or regional magazines. Super Lawyers began selecting lawyers in the London area in 2013 and all selected lawyers are published online at SuperLawyers.co.uk.

The Super Lawyers selection process is designed to find indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The rigorous process involves:

• Peer nominations and research to create the candidate pool
• Independent research regarding all solicitors being considered
• Peer feedback from solicitors who are invited to provide evaluations and comments regarding others in the candidate pool
