Bryan Jones is today attending the Jersey International Family Law Conference, hosted by Corbett Le Quesne.

Featuring heavily at this conference, and echoing trends practitioners are seeing in practice, are questions around jurisdiction and forum shopping. Tips and pitfalls to avoid when instructing accountancy experts in proceedings will also be discussed, along with winning the race to a final order.

The keynote speaker this year is The Honourable Mr Justice Cobb, who was appointed to the High Court Bench (Family Division) in January 2013. He also sits as a Judge of the Court of Protection and in the Administrative Court.
