Hughes Fowler Carruthers is ranked Band 1 for Family and Matrimonial Law again in the Chambers UK 2016 guide and Frances Hughes is ranked as a Star Individual

Hughes Fowler Carruthers has been ranked again as a Band 1 Family/Matrimonial Practice in this year’s Chambers UK 2016. In addition to this, Frances Hughes continues to be ranked as a Star Individual in Family/Matrimonial, with Alex Carruthers, Pauline Fowler and Mark Harper retaining their Band 1 ranking. Renato Labi is ranked in Band 2 again and Ann Ison in Band 4. Caroline Park has also been recognised as ‘Up and Coming’.

Frances Hughes retains her position as a Star Individual, with expertise in complex and post-nuptial agreements, tax issues and divorces, she is ‘able to “fight your corner efficiently and to the nth degree.”

In Band 1 Pauline Fowler “has a subtle, deft, light touch and a sophisticated understanding of human nature” advising on financial and private law children cases, often with an international element.
