Mark Harper comments on the rise of prenuptial agreements among HNW couples in The Times
In recent years, the use of prenuptial agreements has risen significantly, particularly among wealthy couples, and this has created a number of further challenges for practitioners when advising on HNW and UHNW divorce proceedings.
Commenting in The Times on this shift, partner Mark Harper detailed that “prenups are now much more common,” however he explained that they remain most popular with HNW and UHNW individuals, stating: “Most young people do not have spare money to justify having a prenup. You need a certain level of assets or likely inheritance/gifts to make it worthwhile.”
