Partner Mark Harper and senior associate Rachael Burton have contributed a chapter to the second edition of STEP’s Global Mobility of Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals.

The book delves into the legal and tax considerations involved in inbound and outbound relocations of UHNWIs, and provides advisers with key advice in navigating the legal and financial complexities of international residence planning.

Mark and Rachael’s chapter outlines the considerations UHNWIs and their advisers must take into account prior to international relocation from a divorce and family law perspective, discussing the often complex global rules regarding the ownership and division of assets during lifetime, and on divorce and death.
