Partners Alex Carruthers and Kate Brett are sitting on this year’s judging panel for ThoughtLeaders4’s HNW Divorce: Future Thought Leaders Essay Competition.

The competition provides an opportunity for up-and-coming practitioners specialising in HNW divorce to stand out amongst their peers and build their network.

This year’s essay topic is: ‘As wealth becomes more complex and global, how should prenuptial and postnuptial agreements evolve to remain fair, effective, and enforceable?’, and the deadline for submissions is 19 September 2025.

Sitting alongside Alex and Kate on the judging panel will be Philip Marshall KC of 1KBW, Sital Fontenelle of Kingsley Napley, Katharine Landells of Withers, and Kate Clark of Mishcon de Reya.

The winner will be announced on 15 October 2025 and will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion at the HNW Divorce Litigation Conference on 20 November 2025.
