Partner Mark Harper spoke at the International Private Client Forum 2025 in Villa d’Este, in Lake Como, Italy, which was held from 13 to 15 November 2025.

This year’s Forum was themed around ‘The Erosion of Trust: The New Normal?’ and featured numerous expert-led discussions on developments and issues in the private wealth sector, all led by internationally recognised advisers and industry leaders. Partner Bryan Jones also attended the Forum this year.

Mark was joined by Anthony Poulton of Baker & McKenzie and Tanja Schienke of Flick Gocke Schaumburg in a panel titled ‘Whose Property Is It Anyway?’ They discussed how questions of ownership become pivotal in the context of marriage, divorce, death, and succession.
