Anna joined Hughes Fowler Carruthers in 2015 after qualifying as a family solicitor in 2013.
Anna advises on all aspects of family law arising from relationship breakdowns. Her practice deals primarily with cases involving complex financial structures and businesses, overseas assets and trusts and she has considerable experience of working on cases involving international families and individuals.
Anna has a strong grounding in financial cases and is regularly instructed to draft and advise on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Anna also has extensive experience of matters involving jurisdictional disputes.
Anna understands the emotional impact separation can have on a family and is adept at dealing with cases involving children, including disputes relating to living arrangements, international relocation, child abduction and financial provision.
Anna has a compassionate and constructive approach to cases, working closely with clients to help them achieve their objectives. She strives to reach early settlements whether through direct negotiations, mediation or arbitration but where this is not possible, she is a tenacious and effective litigator.
Anna has significant experience working with high profile and high net worth individuals and prides herself on her discretion and professionalism.
Anna works exclusively with Alex Carruthers who describes her as “an astute tactician” who is “universally praised for her intelligence and calm demeanour”.
